BROKEN WHEAT AND BANANA PORRIDGE

INGREDIENTS
1.BROKEN WHEAT 100 GRAMS
2.RICE FLAKES 50 GRAMS
MILK 2 CUPS
MOLASSES(JAGGERY) 40 GRAMS
BANANA SLICED 80 GRAMS
BUTTER 2 TBS

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1.WASH AND DRAIN WHEAT.
2.HEAT A PRESSURE COOKER AND PUT BUTTER.ADD BROKEN WHEAT AND SAUTE FOR
5 MINUTES IN LOW FLAME.
3.ADD RICE FLAKES .SAUTE WELL.
4.ADD MILK AND MOLASSES AND PRESSURE COOK.
5,SERVE HOT ADDING THE SLICED BANANA.
6.CAN ADD CUMIN POWDER FOR FLAVOUR.

Peanut Dosa(pancake)

Raw Rice. 2 cups
Peanut. 1 cup
Fenugreek. 1 TBS
Coconut scraped. 1/2cup (optional)
Green chilly. 2 nos
Onion. 50grams
Salt
Wash and Soak rice peanut and fenugreek
For 5 hours.Grind all ingrediants
Together.
Can make dosa (pancake ) in a griddle  immediately.

MIXED ADA (PANCAKE WITH LENTILS &RICE)

INGREDIENTS

1.RAW RICE 50 GRAMS
2.BOILED RICE OR BASMATHI 50 GRAMS
3.GREEN GRAM 50 GRAMS
4.BENGAL GRAM 30 GRAMS
4.CUMIN SEED 10 GRAMS
5.RED CHILLY 4 NO.
6.ASAFOITIDA(OPTIONAL) 1 TEA SPOON
7.SCRAPED COCONUT 1 CUP
8.SALT

SOAK 1-5 INGREDIENTS OVERNIGHT.GRIND COARSELY WITHOUT MUCH WATER.
MIX COCONUT,ASAFOITEDA AND SALT.KEEP A TAWA ON FIRE.WHEN IT IS
HOT SMEAR SOME OIL.FLATTEN THE DOUGH ON TAWA.KEEP THE FIRE SLOW.
WHEN ONE SIDE IS DONE TURN THE ADA.CAN POUR OIL IN THE MIDDLE
OF ADA-WILL BE REALLY TASTY-BUT IT IS OPTIONAL.

MIXED GRAIN DOSHA

INGREDIANTS

1.BOILED RICE 1 CUP

2.RAW RICE 1 CUP

3.WHEAT 1 CUP

4.FENUGREEK SEED 1 1/2 TBS

5.SALT

WASH AND SOAK ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER FOR SIX HOURS.
ADD SALT.MAKE THIN DOSA.THE BATTER SHOULD NOT FERMENT.

GREEN GRAM DOSHA

INGREDIANTS

GREEN GRAM (SPLIT) 1/2CUP
RAW RICE 1/2 CUP
FENUGREEK 1 TBS
GREEN CHILLIES CHOPPED 2 NOS
CARROT CHOPPED 1/2 CUP
SALT

1.SOAK RICE,GREEN GRAM AND FENUGREEK OVERNIGHT.
2.GRIND THE SOAKED INGREDIANTS IN A MIXER AND LEAVE
THE BATTER ASIDE TO FERMENT FOR 2 HRS.
3.ADD SALT,CARROT AND GREEN CHILLY.MIX WELL.
4.MAKE DOSA AND SERVE WITH COCONUT CHUTNY.

> 1.WASH AND SOAK RICE SEPERATE AND BLACK GRAM AND FENUGREEK TOGETHER OVER NIGHT.

> 2.GRIND RICE.(SHOULD NOT BE VERY SMOOTH),ADD COOKED RICE AND GRIND .
>
> 3.GRIND BLACKGRAM AND FENUGREEK TILL IT BECOMES VERY SMOOTH.

> 4.MIX BOTH BATTER AND SALT AND KEEP TILL IT BECOMES LITTLE SOUR.IF THE BATTER IS WATERY YOU CAN ADD LITTLE SEMOLINA (Rava ) TO MAKE THE BATTER INTO POURING CONSISTENCY.

> 6.SMEAR OIL IN THE IDLY MOULD AND POUR BATTER.

> 7.STEAM FOR 10-15 MINUTES-TILL DONE
